Theme Series

Over the years, we have repeatedly found that we achieve significantly better results with time-limited and well-moderated curricula than we would by simply providing our learning content. In a closed setting, we offer you training series on a range of topics, which we put together from a variety of formats. We combine real-time events on site or digitally with on-demand content in the learning environment, offer accompanying communication as well as specific transfer proposals and methods for the respective operational context. If desired, we can also provide speakers from our pool and organize vendor presentations. Our goal is clear: after the curriculum, participants should be able to independently embed the topic in their own operational context and take the first necessary steps.

Digitization

Our “Digitalization” series is aimed at people who want to understand and take advantage of the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation.
We see the technical, social and economic dimensions of digitalization as interlinked.
Our aim is to strengthen digital sovereignty awareness and promote active participation in shaping the digital future.
This series shows how digitalization can be effectively integrated into everyday life and business strategies, and views it as a strategic opportunity for efficiency gains as well as social and economic benefits.
The curriculum covers topics such as digital technologies in tourism, data analysis, artificial intelligence and digital security.
Practical content and case studies enable participants to deepen their digital skills and develop innovative solutions.

Sustainability

Our “Sustainability” series adopts a holistic and integrative approach that views the environmental, social and economic dimensions of sustainability as intertwined and interdependent.
We are convinced that sustainable change can only be achieved through the active participation and co-decision of all stakeholders.
We therefore attach particular importance to strengthening the awareness of sovereignty for co-creation and empowering people to actively participate in shaping their environment.
This series of topics aims to meet the needs of today’s generation without jeopardizing the opportunities of future generations.
Through conscious stewardship of resources – be they environmental, economic or social – we aim to demonstrate ways in which sustainability can be effectively integrated into daily life and business strategies.
In this series, sustainability is understood not only as an ethical necessity, but also as a strategic opportunity that offers environmental protection as well as social and economic benefits.

Innovation

Tourism is facing major challenges that can hardly be solved with tried and tested methods.
In our curriculum on the topic of innovation, we want to enable participants to identify new paths themselves and to be able to optimally incorporate their ideas into their own company context using various innovation methods.
In a healthy mix of different formats, we provide insights into various megatrends and their impact on tourism on the one hand, and the new narrative of innovative rural areas on the other.
We also explain the principles of agile corporate management as well as specific methods from the service design toolbox.
In addition to the innovation curriculum, we also recommend offering the Innovation Hub, which allows participants to work directly on their ideas.

Introduction to tourism in Germany

Tourism in Germany is extremely complex and difficult to grasp in terms of structure, financing and technological equipment.
Associations and marketing companies, clusters and implementation management, tourism and tour operators, agencies, certificates, associations.
It is virtually impossible for the next generation of tourism professionals to work out the relationships in our industry for themselves.
In our “Introduction to Tourism in Germany” curriculum, we explain the most important organizations and their interactions, provide information on the most relevant providers of technology and services and discuss the background to organizational forms and financing.
In this way, we provide young tourism professionals in your regions and countries with a sound and quick introduction to our industry.

Onboarding seasonal workers

The problem poses ever greater challenges for tourism.
Working with seasonal staff has long since become commonplace.
However, training seasonal staff appropriately and providing them with the necessary know-how about standards, processes and guest requirements is just as difficult as complying with the legal obligations to provide instruction on occupational safety, food hygiene, data protection, etc.
With a mixture of video content and multilingual AI chatbots, we make this task much easier for you.
This curriculum is made up of standardized content of general validity and destination-specific adaptations to target group descriptions, lead products, etc.

Positive mindset

In our Positive Mindset Curriculum, we guide you through various positive examples from our industry and show you opportunities and bold ideas from around the world.
We want to consciously counter the “German Angst” and show how tourism is already sustainably improving the lives and communities of many people in many places.
In doing so, we include positive impact of all kinds and show how we can bring about real change through different ways of thinking and courageous action, even with small investments.
Depending on the focus of the content, we communicate suitable examples, make suggestions for adaptation and, where possible, allow the initiators to have their say.
