Page Speed
Loading time of the website
Page speed refers to the loading speed of a website.
A fast loading time is not only considered positive by your website visitors, but is also a ranking factor for Google.
Pages that take the Google bot longer than 2 seconds to download are crawled less often than fast pages.
Fortunately, there are a few things you can do to optimize the page speed of your website.
These include, for example, compressing large image files, cleaning up the source code, reducing external scripts, outsourcing, minimizing or removing CSS or JavaScript files or reducing 301 redirects.
A low page speed can also be related to the response time of the server, which can be remedied by server-side caching, for example.
